Dr. Spaetzle will man up and might even try to finish the walk. Might help to reduce the swelling and keep the knee from becoming too stiff. On the other hand, going home for a cold water compress would also help. Either way, he’s gotta walk to get there.
I took two teens with disabilities to Orlando this year. The first two days, they walked everywhere. The third day, both of them said they “might” want a wheelchair part of the day. I should have interrogated them further. One had knees the size of grapefruit (she has Ehler-Dahlos syndrome) and should not have been walking at all. The other one couldn’t stand up at all for parts of the day – she periodically loses motor control. The poor girl with grapefruit-sized knees had to walk to leave the park at the end of the day, because we only brought one of their wheelchairs to the theme park.
How do you have enhanced control over anything when the guy most likely to be available to help you can’t figure out what’s going on right in front of his own eyes?

Well you are grabbing the knee so Frazz clearly knows which knee. Is he asking, is the problem the bleeding or the swelling?
