only for a few more years .. it’ll rebrand itself as ‘SyFy’ in 2009.

I think that all channels are morphing into reality show channels. I don’t know how you do a sci-fi reality show without proper spaceships.

Farscape was (is) great! Still in syndication on one of those third or fourth tier channels.

It worked, but too late.

Sci-Fi had our household’s viewership for years. About every time the TV came on, it ended up on Sci-Fi. Then came the name change to SyFy and a programming shift to wrestling (???). We haven’t tuned in for years.

They always cancel the good stuff, but reality trash tv goes on forever.

Just landed on Tubi, watching it right now

In the strip Dog Eat Doug, one of Sophie’s canine pals observed, on the cancellation of Stargate: Universe, that the SciFi channel is run by lobotomized cats.

It’s SyFy channel now…

I really liked Face Off, where makeup artists competed. Some unbelievable designs

Farscape is great science fiction.

This one still hurts

The Sci-Fi Channel started going downhill when they canceled Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Someone tell Jason there’s also a few ‘Farscape’ books to be found in the wilds of outer space.

Jason talking to Roger about science fiction is about as pointless as Peter trying to play football with Jason.

The early years weren’t so great. The reruns they showed in those days suggested they weren’t exactly a big-budget operation. But at least they knew how to spell sci-fi.

It’s called “Syfy” now, rhymes with “sissy”.
