He seems to walk off leash OK.

Bad doggie. Sends him away and gets good doggie instead.

May have some cat DNA…

Very cat like in attitude!

Had one dog in particular that used to have (what my mom graciously called) selective hearing.

Or as I like to say – “I hear you. I just don’t care.”

You probably shouldn’t have signed him up for that assertive course.

My dog have reached this stage. Adolescent years. I’m glad it isn’t as long as human adolescence.

Maybe change “commands” to “requests”. Worth a try.(don’t forget “please” and “thank you”)
