Eh….infect them with bowling. I remember that episode of Cheers where it turned out that Diane was the best bowler in the bar — she had to take a phys ed class in college and that was the only sport that didn’t involve sweating.

Maybe get everyone healthy. Three leading scorers were out with injuries.

I wonder what Abby, Peri and Inez would think of this situation. After all, they’re hardcore US Women’s National Soccer Team fans and would do anything for them to win first place.

As I mentioned a few days ago, who cares about soccer?

Maybe the parents of the players. Maybe.

By the way, I played soccer on my high school’s first ever team back in the late sixties. Even then, I didn’t care about it much. I saw it as an activity, not a sport. I played it because I wasn’t big enough to play football.

Kyle Schwarber is currently batting .025 with 40 home runs

Joey Gallo is currently batting minus .075 with 20 home runs

But Rugby…..men and women…..that is a sport I hope picks up steam in the US.
