The fourth of a five-part series on OJ’s past Labor Day strips – September 6, 2021:
I’ve noticed how, except for the first LD strip in 2018, OJ’s sneakiest way of “avoiding” work on this holiday is…to talk a lot. However, that can lead to repetition – but as we will see tomorrow, last year’s Labor Day strip (in my opinion) was the best since the first one!
When I was a heat treater I was a shift supervisor for a while. I used to sweep the shop floor to take my mind off work. It sounds stupid but it was a kind of meditation for some reason. I normally hate repetitive mindless tasks.
