I suppose what Zack said is true from one “woke” viewpoint. Many so-called woke ideas/positions seem (to me) to involve making judgments (usually negative) on other ideas/positions and on people who have a different viewpoint.

and here I thought it meant – have absolutely no clue about real life and people except from their own narrow completely useless point of view that they made up to virtue signal how – We Obviously Know Everything about nothing people.

Ah, so that “illustrious” Anti-Woke Governor doesn’t want his constituents to be aware of the “goings-on” in his state. Now it makes sense… ☺

My understanding is that “woke” involves not only awareness but acceptance.

I would say “woke” means awareness, acceptance and, often, advocating for the latest media recommendations for behaviors and belief systems.

That’s what leftists want to pretend “woke” means. A more accurate definition would be anti-White/Asian racist misandry along with denial of reality about trans.

No. Woke means having (usually radical, out there, often weird) viewpoints and not allowing anyone to have or debate anything that could be minuscule different to them. Often by shouting and screaming and cancelling.
