The littlest ones are often the biggest bullies. Our Cocker Spaniel Pepper, and my Fox Terrier Mykei, were both sweet and gentle. The ones since then — 3 Chihuahuas and a Maltipoo — all barkers and growlers and biters. The Chihuahuas terrorized the German Shepherd next door and another neighbor’s Pit Bull.
Walking with a friend and their dog on the beach and I saw a horseshoe crab shell fragment, and barked at it to get the dog’s attention. Dog came running and I flipped the shell at her. She started barking at it, so I flipped it again, barking while I did that. The 2 of us barked at the shell until friend told us both to behave. I thought it was fun.

It’s bite is worst than it’s bark.

The smaller the dog the bigger it thinks it is and yaps more and louder. It is making up for size.

Inside every dog is a wolf, wondering what the heck happened.
