I need some help. Why “Apologies to Kim” under the signature? Kardashian? Jong Un?Is Frieda a reference to the Peanuts character or somebody else? I have a vague recollection of the drawing style of the girl and boy but can’t lock down any specific. Tried some Googling but nothing turned up. From an old strip or some kind of merch line?
Nevermind. I am answering my own question. The reference is to a comic strip called “Love is…” (BTW, I tried to include a link to the Wikipedia page but it wouldn’t display).

This must be set in the 1960s. Frieda – with her “naturally curly hair – hasn’t appeared in “Peanuts” in decades.
