Learning to be treated like everyone else might be asking too much of Nancy. The teacher will have to tell her it’s impossible and Nancy will never be able to do it. THAT gets results!
So did the teacher just say, “Having smarts alone is not EVERYTHING! You need to expect to be treated like everyone else (people more dumber than you are)”?
I skipped second grade. It was 1953 when they still did that. When I was in 7th grade my family moved from CA to IL. My new school wanted to put me back a grade, sight unseen. My parents convinced them otherwise. I got better than average grades in my new school. Because I was as hard working as Nancy I got pretty good at figuring out the minimum amount of effort necessary to be a bit better than average. I was a little over 30 when I first developed study habits.

Vampire Overlord Nancy attempts to acquire yet another subject but it doesn’t seem to be working. I guess She still has a few things to learn.

NANCY: hahaha….“Expect to be treated like everyone else” – that’s a good one, teach!
