For the next few days, I’ve changed my Avatar from my normal picture of the late Robson to my current feline, Ivy. She’s five years old and came to me two years ago from neighbours who were splitting up. They’d done the responsible thing and arranged homes for their two cats and the dog as they were both going into rented properties that didn’t allow pets. Five days before the due date Ivy’s new home fell through, and I was asked if I could help. The previous month I’d had to let my cat Misty go due to cancer, but wasn’t actively looking for another cat at that point.
Snork is such a funny word. I bet Oliver looks really silly when he snorks a cookie. ( And really adorable too.) On another note, saw eight juncos while out walking today.

Ivy settled in very well, she is a lovely cat.

Since when is ‘regard for diet, etiquette, or propriety’ ever relevant to a cat’s eating or ingesting anything?

I’m pretty sure “snork” is onomatopoeia but, hey, you can create portmanteau words if you know what you’re doing.
