Alternative method of working with the “Go{l}d” standard.
There’s no Accounting for taste.
No receipts, no proof.
Can we count on that?
Hopefully He won’t be audited by the Eternal Revenue Service.
Tax exemptions for religions because they do so much good.
M’eh! … where’s your Form 501-C?!
In Heaven, gold ain’t nuthin’ but pavement.
Especially for the air conditioned dog house.
If you accept the His “offer”, all your debts are cancelled.
Oooh heavens, , it’s happened
God keeps record; he just ignores them if we ask him to.
He also requires us to be good stewards of his gifts, so we should keep receipts.
(Not a strong point for me, though. I despise paper receipts in particular and seldom keep them.)
That’s one way I’m like the Lord.
But He did list Contract Conditions in writing for both Him and us as to how to conduct our lives. Financial receipts were not His thing. Good luck…..
It’s better to give than receive. (Not sure how to apply that here.)
does the lord work?
Parish the thought!
He also brooks no excuses.
Shades of Dr. Gene Scott, “It’s God’s Money”…
God definitely isn’t an accountant. But I do obey my accountant as if she were God!
And on the 7th day, he rests in mysterious ways
