Do you rinse?

Teeth and mouth – yes.

Plates and the like we scrape and swipe a bit before washing them – by hand at the time (no dishwasher; washing machine was the more urgent to be replaced. Maybe a dw for my birthday or Christmas). And I put the cleaned dishes in a sink with clear hot water to get rid of any cleaner residue.

Also wash and rinse then dry…by hand!!! Don’t have a dishwasher what are those???

The instructions for my Bosch said no rinsing, just bang them in there and let the auto function decide. Works great.

I had a dishwasher years ago. Had to wash the dishes before washing the dishes. Silliest thing, I’ve ever done. I just wash them now, no dishwasher.

I also wash the car before I take it to the car wash.

Scrape off any chunks of food, but leave the grease and other residue. A dishwasher needs them to work properly. Make sure to use a good detergent. I used to use a store brand detergent, and many dishes didn’t get cleaned. I use a good detergent now and only occasionally have a dish that needs extra attention.

A not so great inquisition??? Imagine if they had just left them on top of the DW!!! I realize she is just a cartoon character, and I hope there aren’t any wives or mothers who are so controlling!! The husband will leave home right after the kiddies!

Rinsing the plates before using the dishwasher is as stupid as cleaning up before the cleaner comes.
