A perfectly valid reason.

Get thee hence to a thrift clothing store. You can find some good quality stuff if you’re willing to hunt for it.

There are ways to remove the kitty without physically removing the kitty. Open up a can of cat food or tuna. Kitty will get off the clothing.

Dump him. Anyone that hung up on their pet doesn’t really have room for an emotional commitment to another person.

I’m doing laundry today with 6 cats in the house

I’m lucky they don’t interfere, they just want the empty baskets when I’m done

Just one of a dozen excuses. The real reason is he just couldn’t be bothered spending the 10 minutes getting stuff into the washer and then remembering to throw it in the dryer. I once waited three days to do my laundry because my spouse hadn’t bothered to get his stuff out of the washer and into the dryer. And then he had to redo it.

In our house everyone did their own laundry from Middle School on because Mom worked a full-time job outside the home and didn’t need to work a full-time job inside the home as well.

Not his only clean outfit; his only clean clothes. That is not an outfit. And outfit matches.

She would want to date him anyway. That black dress would be covered in cat hair in a matter of seconds.

Well … well … What’s the matter? Cat got your tongue?

The cat will eventually get off the laundry-when it’s hungry or when it need other things. Then you must immediately do it, just to get the cat hair off.

One of lifes puzzles, If you are going to clean all your laundry, well what do you wear while you are doing it?

He has that few clothes that they all fit in one laundry basket?

Don’t you know by now how to lure the cat off the basket? Treats!

What stopped him? Clawstrophobia.

Looks like he’s ready to go to walmart!
