    It’s a tough choice. Paper is renewable but it takes a lot of truck fuel to bring them to stores. Plastic is not, but they travel easier.

    Get your own cloth totes. And bring reusable mesh bags, or compostable bags, for produce.

    Considering how much plastic is used for packaging these days…does it really matter if you take it home in a plastic bag or a paper one? Go thru a grocery store, meat, cheese, all packaged in plastic. Cereal-plastic. Drinks-plastic. Soap/shampoo-plastic. The list goes on…
