Maybe next time Roy should take his daughter and ask for the alley with kiddie bumpers on the sides. Then he might beat my lowest score ever, in the low 80’s if memory serves correctly. Highest was at about 195.
That’s the thing about most video games that I’ve seen. I’m not a player, but have watched my 5 year old grandson a good bit. They make wildly improbable physical stunts seem trivial, almost automatic.
I recently purchased a flight simulator designed to train for RC model airplanes, where you fly from outside the cockpit. It’s actually a more complex task than flying from the pilot’s POV. This simulator is quite realistic, using a controller that physically matches RC transmitters, with gimbal sticks, etc.
I’ve set the grandson loose on it, and it’s been interesting to watch him learn. He’s good at experimenting to see what the sticks do, but ultimately he’s frustrated by the simple fact that this realistic simulation has only a narrow window for success, while the games he’s used to have a very wide window. Those superheroes always land on their feet while firing a rail gun, but the plane bores a hole in the ground unless you do it just right.
Another old age thing. A couple of years ago one of our granddaughters had her birthday party at a bowling alley. I hadn’t bowled in over 40 years. I discovered that I could no longer use a 16 pound ball and that my approach to the line was considerably less smooth than it once was. l was sore afterwards.

Actually the two aren’t that different. I bowl the same way either way. Get similar results too.

I’m wondering if she put her water bottle down when she bowled the ball.

There is room for improvement.

The bowler in the background seems to be a little bit pass the line?

Artistic license . . . had to fit him into the frame.
