Spanish-language Ripley’s says that the bus dumped 363 LITERS of sewage. The math would be correct if they were converting to kilograms, but they used the wrong unit.
I’m gonna tell you a story I’m gonna tell you about my town I’m gonna tell you a big fat story, baby Aw, it’s all about my town Yeah, down by the river Down by the banks of the river Charles Aw, that’s what’s happenin’, baby That’s where you’ll find me Along with lovers, muggers, and thieves Aw, but they’re cool, too Well, I love that dirty water Oh, Boston, you’re my home Oh, you’re the number one place Frustrated women (I mean they’re frustrated) Have to be in by 12 o’clock (oh, that’s a shame) But I’m wishin’ and a-hopin’, oh That just once those doors weren’t locked I like to save time for my baby to walk around Well, I love that dirty water Oh, Boston, you’re my home, oh, yeah ‘Cause I love that dirty water Ooh, oh, Boston, you’re my home, oh, yeah Well, I love that dirty water (I love it, baby) I love that dirty water (I love Boston) I love that dirty water (have you heard about the strangler?) I love that dirty water (I’m the man, I’m the man) I love that dirty water (oww) I love that dirty water (come on, come on) I love that dirty water (come on) I love that dirty…
Glow in the dark lane markings? They have existed in Canada for many, many years. Not sure about the USA.Also why did the Dave Matthews Band have 800 LBS of sewage on their bus?
GREAT idea by the Garbagemen to save all those books. And an even Better idea for the glow-in-the-dark highway markings; those would be Invaluable, on foggy nights especially. That should become a world-wide standard.
So, not to change the subject, but what’s special about glow-in-the-dark paint on the roads? U.S. uses reflective lines…isn’t that pretty much the same?

I can find no mention of any compensation received by the victims in the tour boat

A little misleading entry. The bus driver PURPOSELY dumped the crap into the river. The only accident was that it landed on a tour boat.

There is an article on Wikipedia about theDave Matthews Band Chicago River incident.
Bilan about 1 year ago
Does that mean the Dave Matthews bus was intentionally trying to dump sewage in the river?

And all of the books that were picked out of the garbage by the Turkish refuse collectors were “The Joys of Socialism”

“Accidentally”.
Are they good books, or just paper trash?
I suppose there must be SOME good books in there.

800 pounds of sewage and the Dave Matthews Band kind of complement each other.

I’m disappointed in the Turks for throwing away 6,000 serviceable books.

The item on the Turkish library was posted on Facebook about two weeks ago.

I remember the Dave Matthew Band incident. Caused a big stink in the media and their “stock” went down in value a bit as a band.

The passengers on that tour boat got a complimentary souvenir of Chicago. Baggies will cost extra. ;-p

The tour boat got wind of the Windy City!
