You know you are in a five star restaurant when the waiter’s shirt color matches the color of the tablecloth and the chairs. That’s what they call brand team colors.

Right around forty minutes.

How much of a tip do you want? The bigger the tip, the less I have to spend on food.

Time to say goodbye

The waiter is asking " How much have you got"? I clearly can’t afford to eat here.

One glass of Wild Irish Rose and a saltine coming up.

Ah! A restaurant where one dines by the numbers.

When the menu is called “Le” Menu….you’re almost sure to be waiting way too long to pay way too much money for way too little food. Never bother going to a French restaurant if you’re extremely hungry….or not rich….or don’t have hours and hours available to sit around the table waiting for your food. I was once even at one where after getting done with the meal, I was still so famished that it was lucky I had enough money to stop off at “Le Burger King” that was still open for some nutrition on the way home!

Do you really expect a waiter to tell you the truth?

I’ve been to those restaurants, in Beverly Hills, CA…

I think I will go around the corner to the convenience store.
