Is that Air Bud?

The other guard position used to be called the “shooting guard.”

This doggy odor could use a Rightguard.

He plays a “ruff” game!

In our High School annual one year, there was a picture of a basketball player, shot from the hoop, looking straight down into his armpit, as he launched the ball. The caption gave his position: “Right Guard.”

So why “Beware”?

That’s not sweat they’re toweling off the hardwood floor.

“You can’t guard me! The Secret Service couldn’t guard me!”

This needs more knowledge of the game than I have.

What’s in the box?

Pointers are probably better at being guard dogs than Setters. He can at least identify an intruder. “That’s him, over there.” (While pointing…) But a Setter would say, “Ah feck noo. Blarney, I tink I was settin’ here, eating me corn beef and cabbage. Didn’t see a ting.”

Commander would bite him.

I hope this is the beginning of a three-point arc.
