The only person who stayed to listen is the girl. The boys have considered the source and moved on. Different boys took their places.

It was really sad when that kid was stabbed to death with a bishop… and the hats won’t help.

i vividly remember riding my bike helmetless (me, not the bike) all the time when i was a kid, but i’d never think of chessting without a helmet…

The safety helmet really does work. Proof? Why, there hasn’t been a single chess-oriented death since Agnes put it on! Reminds me of a commercial I’ve been seeing for a phony-baloney psychic hotline (I know, throwing in the adjective is redundant). They claim to be 100% more accurate than any other such service. So if another service is 1% accurate, their service will have an accuracy rate of 2%.
