What we have here is a failure to communicate.

Star Wars etiquette says that the one calling with the threat should be the first one to speak. Just ask Emily Post.

I don’t think the timing is right for an invasion.

Now you’ve upset Pam, definitely a bad time to invade. She’ll kick your butt.

Second panel – Dirk: “Brewster Rockit my old nemesis…” Brewster: “Dirk Raider you foul fiend….” Fifth panel – Dirk: “Well I was going to say that you…” Brewster: “Anyway villain prepare to….” (At least that’s what it appeared to say.)

This is a failure of aviation communication etiquette. Send these two back to pilot training 101. Also sent Pam to basic etiquette. NO Yelling on an open comm frequency.

And this, dear children, is how many an invasion has been stymied at the onset.

Satellite-relayed cellphone connections have just enough time lag to drive you completely out of your mind, especially in any emotion-laden conversation.

I like how Rickard graphically illustrated the condition of speaking over one another. People talking over each other is also one of my pet-peeves that makes me feel uneasy.

Pam wants the invasion to start already, she wants to put her fist through something.
