For the team that only kicked a field goal, I presume.

Yeah, I know about losing teams. If you want to create a losing team, just move it to Arizona.

Same here Brutus. Teams should pay me not to root for them!

It’s tech, and you’re being a diehard.

When my team is down by that much, I am rooting for the game to be over…

13 years between Premierships. Being a fan takes resolve.

Do you really need to ask? After all, he’s not called the born winner.

If that is a real question not speaking rhetorical, I would think since this comic is called The Born Loser, that Brutus is cheering for Tech!

With all the sophisticated technology that goes into manufacturing and marketing tea cozies, I assume Brutus is a Tech alum.

As a lifelong Mets and Jets fan, I can sympathize.

But Tech is playing with great sportsmanship. Wait that’s not sweat – it’s all tears.

Tech, obviously. It would be out of character for the Brute to back an actual winner.

I love the Dr. Pepper “Fansville” commercials, they root for State.

As a “Detoilet” Tigers fan, I can understand.

Poor Brutus.

Brutus is NOT a “sunny day supporter”. Come rain or shine, Brutus supports his team.

The score implies who he is for of course. His loyalty is unquestionable and is one of his many admirable traits. I do believe that bookies and gambling sites consult Brutus as to his opinion on who will win when they determine the odds that they will give. He IS the expert in picking losers. It’s in his blood…..

To make it worse, it’s only halftime! But this strikes a (painful) chord. Lifelong Browns and Indians/Guardians fan that I am, and since 2000 a rabid fan of my Blue Jackets, this scene is common in our house.

Is Tech the South Haven Institute of Technology? Because that would explain a lot.

My Alma mater was so bad they dropped football after the 1985 season.

He may be a loser in life but he deserves credit for not bandwagon jumping. But then those loser gotta hang together.

Sounds like Brutus was rooting for the Norwalk truckers, who lost to my grandkids school, the Perkins Pirates 52 to 3 last night.
