Methinks Ruben Bolling’s idea to parody “Calvin and Hobbes” as an attack on Donald Trump wasn’t just because of the imaginary but more sensible friend element.
Kids tend to copy things. He must have copied this from his toxic parents and/or toxic teacher and/or toxic babysitter and/or Stacy Abrams and/or Letitia James.
1) Should tigers be allowed to pounce on young boys?
2) Should a man be allowed to keep his position of “Father”, when his Poll Numbers are so low?
3) Should the School’s investigation of “The Noodle Incident” be allowed to continue, even though there is no evidence whatsoever suggesting a specific individual was responsible?
I’m not necessarily in the “I’m right and you’re wrong” crowd, I find that more often than not someone having a different opinion from mine is harmless enough. But I do agree completely with the second panel. Debate, especially private debates that are not going to reach enough people to have any chance of shifting public opinion, is hardly ever a worthwhile use of time. When I do get drawn into one, usually on the Internet and occasionally on this very site, the resulting feeling is usually comparable to what I’d get after drinking too much or eating large amounts of junk food.
State your opinion. Make the opposition point of view 3 or 4 nonsense syllables. Your argument for yours can be, “The opposing argument makes no sense,”
There you go, Calvin. Keep repeating that and soon you will get some people who will actually believe you. Eventually you will get enough people who will help you overthrow a democracy and set up your own dictatorship. Hail Calvin!

And Calvin carried that philosophy well into adulthood, when he changed his name to Donald J. Trump!!
BTW, Trump’s older sister recently passed away. I hope the Orange Baboon will be banned from her funeral, or else he’ll make it all about himself!!

You should try suing your school, Calvin. That way, most of the children at your school would look at you as a superior being.
