It can take two months to get an appointment, but waiting room time is usually short at my clinic.

I have been to that doctor.

They try to get my wife in quickly. She takes the magazines home if they don’t.

Only my chiropractor has put the magazines back out. None of my other doctors have.

Overheard in my Doctors office: What are those funny wooden things on the wall ? Maybe they put the next patients records there

My record is having the first appointment, being there when they unlocked the surgery, and having the doctor only be twenty minutes late.

I guess this is in the middle of a rerun week of 2017 strips.

If all the cars in the ads have huge fins, it’s a good bet you’re reading an old magazine.

The Dodge Dart was dropped in 2016 so that magazine is at least seven years old.

I read Catcher in the Rye waiting to see a specialist for a knee problem.

I have been known to have walked out of the waiting room before seeing the doctor. Tired of waiting an hour or so.

Oldest one I ever found was a couple years ago and found a Time magazine discussing the SALT II treaty with the USSR.

Must have found this joke in the back of one of those 20th Century magazines in a medical office somewhere.
