Some swallowers do consume a large meal before performing to give the stomach a more vertical orientation, allowing for easier passage of the sword. Still, pure Darwin Awards material IMHO
You had me at sword swallowing. But seriously folks, wouldn’t cutting your food into smaller pieces slow down your eating and help to avoid indigestion? The health and well-being of cartoon characters is a major concern these days. Good one.
