It’s true, we Canadians do spell some words with a “u” like “colour,” “honour,” “valour”. In other words, we spell them correctly, as opposed to the “simplified spelling” that became all the rage around 1906. Look up the “Simplified Spelling Board” on Wikipedia sometime. Fortunately, not all of thier recommendations wer adopted becaus English would look very much lik this sentenc, and that would just mes with yur hart and hed I ges.
