I was at the bus stop all day yesterday and it never came by?

Speaking of ducks…er…geese. the golf course I live on has a small lake by my house, I looked outside and there among the wild geese was a small white domestic goose. The last one we had was a male and he apparently stole a couple females and flew off to start his own flock. This one is a small female, red legs and all. The other geese are not bothered by her and she is now a member of the flock.

I can just see those two trying to explain to their friends and relatives what they just saw!

That’s a pretty small puddle. No worries about getting stuck there!

Today is:

ORANGE SHIRT DAY. Orange Shirt Day promotes awareness about the Indian residential school system still impacting Native American communities in the United States and Canada. Known as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the day honors the children forced into Indian boarding schools. In addition, the day also remembers those who never returned home.Indian residential schools, once called American Indian boarding schools, were established in the early 19th century. The schools were developed as an assimilation model to teach Indian children Euro-American ways. Residential schools stripped Native American children of their culture, including their language, customs, music, and traditions. Operated by Christian missionaries, the government forcibly removed Native American children from their homes and families. Because these institutions practiced corporal punishment, children who rebelled would often suffer brutal treatment. Unfortunately, recent investigations have revealed instances of sexual assault and mental abuse, all because they were Indian.

NATIONAL LOVE PEOPLE DAY. People are okay – especially Graham and all the Graham Crackers, but for the most part, I prefer cats.

Yay, this very funny and clever story with good old fashioned animation continues!!! I did love Chesney’s interruption, and hope he snuck back in from the loading dock. Will Annie read it again to the other cats? Will she invite Snow’s 13 kittens over for story time? Stay tuned!

If it looks like a bus, and walks like a duck, it must be a silly duck bus.

Maybe I’ll give myself a mud pack today. I love our Indigenous people and their culture. We could all learn a lot from them.

Those duck legs would be useful in New York with the flooding.

Now, isn’t that bus just ducky? I don’t know what’s funnier, the bus walking over the puddle, or the people freaking out over the sight of it. Hilarious! On another note, saw three chickadees, two dragonflies, seven juncos, three sparrows, a spotted towhee, a robin, and two rabbits while out walking today.
