Is it common for someone to explode over a minor event because their anger has been growing about other things that they can’t rationally be angry about?

Before cell phones getting in touch with your feelings was more difficult.
It’s never about what they say it’s about. That’s why guys stop listening. I’m just saying (not listening). :)
The general aggravations and tensions of life accumulate. And then this happens.
