INDIGNANT WHINNY! Hey, she’s right!

Apparently, last night was directly on the border between warm and cold weather.

Where is that weird talking cat.

We rarely see Phoebe without Marigold. Those of us who read “Calvin and Hobbes” see a good deal of Calvin when he isn’t with Hobbes. We rarely see Hobbes without Calvin. When completely alone, Hobbes is always how Calvin sees him.

Now, did Marigold say “Indignant Whinny” or did she actually do one? I’d bet on the former.

How many have heard a horse’s indignant whinny?.

they do have such a sound especially when there are other horses coming into their space or trying to steal your attention away.

I wonder if P&HU was a cartoon show if Marigold would have generic neighing and whinnying sound effects or would Jane Krakowski try to imitate the sounds?.

because I’m sure Marigold can still make animal noises because well…..she is an animal.

Nah, don’t think it’ll catch on.

Mari is winsome and whinny-some.

Sadly, the human vocal tract is not designed to produce a good whinny, indignant or otherwise.

I can’t quite manage an indignant whinny, but boy howdy can I do an annoyed huff.

It honestly DOES sound like it’d be fun.

Now that’s a reaction image waiting to happen.

I’ve often wondered what kind of lettering the legendary Walt Kelly would have used for Marigold………although even he never came up with things like “blaaart!” !

I think Marigold can very well understand the desire to stay with herself for a while.

The cat seemed normal, by cat standards, to me.
