Marigold to the rescue!

Hard to have an imagination when you have things like unicorns, trolls and talking cats in your real life. What’s left to imagine?

Recently, I’ve been listening to Studio Ghibli movie sound tracks to help me deal with my thoughts.

Her brain is in runaway mode. The next stop is a meltdown.

This is a major difference between her and Max. Phoebe finds being alone with her thoughts can become unpleasant. A real loner like Max copes with the negativity. Usually by self-applied distractions like his games.

Her thoughts: Panel One – I really AM a nerd… Panel 2 – Mom is making broccoli quiche for dinner… Panel 3 – What if Max thinks I am a nerd?… Panel 4 – I may not make it to the bathroom in time…

Bad news, Phoebe: it only gets worse as you get older.

I know the feeling… :(

Good friends do that……

I have been watching Sesame Street clips to ease my thoughts lately.

My thoughts are pretty cool, but the voices… the voices…

Gibil Nusku is the name of the fire demon in “NIGHT OF THE DEMON”/CURSE OF THE DEMON" an excellent 1957 scare movie.

At least they’re not terrifying like Marigold’s were when she spent time alone with them… (Wish I could find that strip – I’d saved it but lost it in a disk crash.)
