How many TV shows or movies have that time travel paradox where someone ends up in his/her own past and has to avoid meeting their younger self or disaster will ensue? I know I’ve seen some and read some books.
Wish I had a time machine. I’d go back to Mark Zuckerberg’s time at Harvard and offer $2,000.00 “start up” money for Facebook. I’d have more money than Taylor Swift. :)
Meeting yourself is the least of your worries. The Earth rotates and revolves. The Solar System moves through space. The galaxy is drifting. If you went back to the Jurassic Period, finding oxygen would be your biggest problem because the Earth was on the other side of the Milky Way.
Don’t do it. You’ll create a temporal causality loop. If future you stops past you from getting into the time machine, future you will cease to exist, as past you never traveled forward in time. Since future you never existed, no one went back to stop past you from entering the time machine, so now there is a future you that decides to go back to the past to stop past you from getting in the time machine, but if future you stops you from getting in the time machine, future you ceases to exist…and so on, until the universe collapses in on itself.

If something is paradox then it only means it can not happen in reality.

Yesterday’s “Hey, your suggestion worked! Thanks!” was to today’s advise. [So … Will Cliff be able to connect the two?]

Wait a sec. Doesn’t Newton’s third law of physics state that you can’t fix a problem until it occurs?
