Support a soccer team is kinda of religion here in Italy: you can change house, city, even wife, but your team is for life. Unless for personal advantage. A famous journalist did iit when became a Berlusconi employee.
His team isn’t winning but the owners are. Think about all of the money they’re making trading away all the first round picks they get for having the worse record every year.
The saying is ‘you can’t win them all". Never something that Brutus’s team will ever have to worry about it seems.Your loyalty is to be commended. Remember the Mets. Last thing that I will say…..
I’ve spent my life as a die hard fan of the Indians/Guardians, the Browns, and for the last 23 years my beloved Blue Jackets. The key to enduring is low expectations. Last night my Blue Jackets beat Calgary and we left the arena feeling like kids on Christmas Day!
Though most of the soccer teams I coached were winners, one was not. I’d like to say that we lost some of the games due to bad reffing, and there was one that was a doozy. But, most were lost cause I couldn’t get them to play as a team. So they lost the whole season.
Hey! The Browns beat the mighty 49’rs last week! Thank you Cleveland! (I hope they are not the only team to beat them this year, butt they might be. Santa Clara is pretty good ):

Brutus, you can do what I did. I gave up on watching professional and college sports 50+ years ago.

Those born loser seem to attract each other, probably out of sympathy.

Brutus you wouldn’t be the Born Loser if you rooted for a winning team.
