I thought it was like those videos, where people sitting in a car make funny sound effects on people coming down stairs or walking about.

I remember Dad buying a pair of dress shoes and they squeaked; he tried everything to get ‘em to stop. Mom would shake her head, asking him why didn’t he just get rid of them; there was always one more thing to try to stop that squeak. I had already moved out so I missed the funniest stuff about those shoes.

Fink sure does fart a lot.

Not just an awesome gag in its own right—B.C. and Wizard of Id were pioneers of “weird sound effect words” in the comics, so this is an excellent homage to Johnny Hart’s comic genius.
