These shorts are great for days on the range; after all they are a civilianized military surplus battle dress uniform pant/short. I can put up to 8 fully loaded pistol magazines in one bellows pocket and an entire box of 12-gauge shotgun shells in the other, carry my Desert Eagle on my hip in its holster and my Winchester pump shotgun on a shoulder sling and I’m ready for a day of fun in the sun.
love cargo pants and shorts. I put my phone in upper and wallet in lower front pocket to prevent the sciatica problems from sitting on wallet in back pocket
And they relieve the spouse from having to carry the pills, glasses, keys, phone, map/directions [yes, in spite of google maps many of us oldsters prefer seeing the whole map instead of a few inches at a time], mints, water bottle, Kleenex, etc.
because 98% of us pluggers could care less about your “fashion” statement clothes AND think that the clothes trends today are the most impractical stupid idiotic trying to be an “influencer” ridiculous thing in the world with absolutely NO function or purpose other than to look completely like a clown. Sorry, but you got me started with this one………………………………
Preferably the kind with the zip-off lower legs, so they can be converted into long pants at a moment’s notice (assuming you remembered to bring those parts along)!
When I travel I wear cargo pants for a specific reason. I put my passport and wallet in the bottom pocket. That way a pickpocket pretty much has to get on their knees to get the important things like the wallet and passport.

The laughter turns to envy, when you suddenly pull out a wrapped hoagy sandwich from one of your cargo pants pockets…

Easier to carry a phone in a cargo pocket, and you never sit on it.

Men should wear these, the wallet goes in a bellows pocket so they don’t have to sit on the wallet and bruise hip bones and muscles.

Shouldn’t he be wearing over-the-calf socks and suspenders, like a real plugger?

Love cargo shorts in the summer and cargo pants the rest of the year. Lots of pockets to put things in. Just have to remember what went where.

I wear cargo shorts, the side pocket is a convenient place to carry my cell phone.

My last pair of cargo pants died last Spring. I went to put them on, caught a toe in a small hole and ripped the leg open. Not a good look at 71.

Unfortunately, most of his “cargo” is above the waist.

As The Plugger ages, belts don’t work as well at holding pants up. Too much “cargo” means more time pulling up your pants.
