Tangled up in blue (Bob Dylan).

Now add a creature struggling to get out of the tangle.

Is that Jason tangled up in the lights? It’s too small a bundle to be Paige.

Looks like a cocoon, but for what?

My lights worked when I put them away last year. Some were dead when I took them out this year. Why, oh Universe, Why?

I watched The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug last evening. I’m not sure why this picture reminds me of that!?!

Our house is 300 feet from the street, “down in the hollar” as they say in these parts. It cannot be seen from the street. So we do not bother decorating the outside. There is no sense to it. I am spared the task.

In the spring, a butterfly is going to emerge from that.

When does it finish pupating into a very large butterfly? A very large and colorful one I might add……

I’m on a suburban street, but I still don’t decorate. Last night, I heard a siren coming down the street. I looked out, and saw: a firetruck, an EMT vehicle, a flatbed with Santa in his sleigh, and the fire chief’s car. Going by slowly. I thought, “huh”. About all I could come up with.
