Part of the joke of the first TV series was that while very weird, the Addams Family was more functional and loving than the majority of sitcom families.
Wednesday season 2 can’t arrive soon enough, and luckily, thanks to the writers’ strike ending, it looks like Wednesday season 2 is ramping up. According to a report from Variety, Netflix is prioritizing two shows coming out of the WGA strike: Wednesday and Stranger Things. This should not surprise anyone. These are the two biggest English-language Netflix shows. With Squid Game season 2 already in the works, Wednesday season 2 and Stranger Things season 5 ramping up to film is a huge win for Netflix.
Variety claimed “writing scripts for and filming the second season of Wednesday” is “top of mind” for the streamer. That’s good news, considering how long fans have already waited for season 2 and will be waiting. Not all Netflix shows are going to be that lucky to be the priority coming out of the writers’ and actors’ strikes.
After renewing Wednesday for season 2 in January 2023, Netflix has not shared many updates regarding the second season. All the major updates have come from the cast, crew, and creative teams, including Jenna Ortega, Tim Burton, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and more.
There are a lot of familiar faces also returning in the new season. We also know Jenna Ortega is returning as Wednesday Addams in Wednesday season 2, which is one of the most highly anticipated Netflix original shows expected to return.
We’ll update this story as Netflix shares more information about Wednesday season 2. The latest update was made on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023. Stolen from Neflix Life.
On another note, in todays paper…Just read this morning that ACT test scores have dropped for 6 consecutive years, and this year is a 30-year low. Let’s see. What union is in bed with democrats? What union gives 98% to dem candidates? What union demands more money every year and doesn’t produce positive results? Hmmmmm….
2023 has seen $75 million diverted from Florida’s Public Education funding and moved into vouchers. Then Governor Jeb Bush introduced this and Crist (a former Republican), Scott and DeSantis have continued the drain. Next year that voucher program is being expanded and the drain is expected to see it increase close to three fold.
“In 2021, the highest level of education of the population age 25 and older in the United States was distributed as follows: 8.9% had less than a high school diploma or equivalent. 27.9% had high school graduate as their highest level of school completed.” Feb 24, 2022

The Addams are actually loving and inclusive. Yes, they have some weird practices, but they will welcome anyone into their lives without hesitation.
Now REPUBLICANS, they’re getting freaky…

We’ve now gotten to the point where. “Is Congress in session?” and “Is the circus in town?” mean the same thing.

What passes for normal among the pols in DC would scare the Addams’ family to life.
