My wife and I were in a convenience store one Morning a few years back, the music inside was from a clerk’s radio, “Louisiana Saturday Night”. Well we just grabbed each other and started dancing through the song until it was over. The young girl behind the counter was laughing when we got to the counter. She said “I wish my husband would dance with me like that to music out of nowhere.” My wife said “What music? We’ve been married almost twenty years and make our own.” Boy don’t that make a man feel good.
I’ll sometimes make a face that should be accompanied by a string of symbols over my head. One example would be when I am behind a person at the drive-up ATM who, at that moment, decided to pursue an online degree in personal banking.

Well done JJ. Kind of a twist on breaking the 4th wall.

Nothing quite like comic strip characters who know they’re in a comic.

At least they still have speech balloons so they can know what the others are saying.

Hello, maintenance?
Yea, we’re going to need a dry waller up here… Yea, J.J’s broke the 4th wall again…
Tomorrow?… I understand, hope that won’t affect the strip.

Given their ages, I wonder what they’re dancing to. I hope it’s not Captain and Tennile.
Sedaka is back! La La La laaaaa!

Or song lyrics instead. I’m picturing “Brown Eyed Girl”, Jimmy Buffett version.

How about “Are you ready?” by Pacific Gas & Electric.
