My brudders and I were fighting over Christmas presents (mine and theirs -we all wanted everything the others got) when the nieces and nephew were under age 6. SIL walked in the room and looked at the 3 of us on the floor squabbling while the kids sat on the sofa. She said, there is a-dolt there, and a-dolt there and a-dolt there but there are no adults in the room. Mom walked in at this outburst and calmly said, “I knew I should have gotten 3 telescopes and 3 drills.” Turned and left.
