Buckles is so dramatic today!

Finally, Buckles realizes the realities of Winter.

I have always wanted to skip winter. Ours are brutual and I can easily feel cold at 80F. This morning was 32F. I just realized what the weird encounter I had with a young female deer was about this morning. I was walking my dog early, at dawn, and I saw two deer, I think both does. The one kept looking at us, coming closer on occasion. It’s rutting season, and not a good time to assume anything friendly about deer. I finally cut through some backyards, and came out in a different area where she couldn’t see it. I just remembered that I have seen a neighbor feeding a deer. She might have hoped it was me, although I doubt we smell anything alike. I let the wildlife be wild. I don’t feed anything outside.

But will you miss Buckles Arden?

Davids images of the lovable Arden and the precious Buckles today are just so adorable it is hard to pick out the favorite one ? Arden’s expression in the circle is a scream and then again in the first panel , how he looks like I’m going to " migrate " is super too , But the precious Buckles steals the show in the second panel with that , I can’t describe his expression , sorry . It is just a special one for sure : )

Buckles ….. At least “YOU” do have a heated home …………….. to stay in for the winter …. :)

But we miss you when you migrate, Arden.

I’ve spent most of my life in the Southwest: South Texas and Arizona. So…. what is snow? LOL

Buckles DEFINITELY belongs on Broadway!
