“Maizing: Actually, I have a very enjoyable life view - it’s the “death” view where we differ. Jimmy Stewart talked to his imaginary rabbit in “Harvey”, and I see no reason why you shouldn’t talk to your imaginary man in the sky. I happen NOT to talk to an imaginary man in the sky. These discussions are pointless, really, but if you insist on injecting your religious views into comments on cartoons, of course you’re going to hear opposing opinions. Save your religion for church and we’ll all be better off.”
I don’t normally share my religious views here on the comic comments sections… however, I think it is rather hypocritical of you to tell me not to, when you (and others with similar beliefs) don’t keep your own views to yourself.
I figure that if I should not talk about my religious beliefs, then you should not talk about yours either.
Last try - Maizing, YOU were the one who brought up the whole thing about your beliefs, NOT me. I merely responded to your comment. You will NEVER see me comment on my religious beliefs, or lack thereof, unless someone, as you have done, starts in about God. Do you understand yet? Yes, you have a right to thump your bible, but then I also have a right to comment on it. You leave your religion out of the comics, and I then don’t have anything to which to respond. If you bring up God, I will say something. If you don’t, I won’t - I can’t make it any clearer. I’m done - if you want to keep going, I’ll just keep copying this statement and pasting as we go…
Susan001: While I have to agree with rtt470, I probably wouldn’t have phrased it quite like that. As so many on GoComics say over and over, “if you don’t like the comments, don’t read them”.
