When I was a kid…over 50 years ago…I was in the hospital to have my tonsils removed….one of the first things they brought me to eat was lime jello….like rubber. I bent the spoon trying to eat it…and a fork wouldn’t break it. It’s probably still in some waste dump to this day… indestructible!

I believe it was 3rd grade when the rumors started as to what Jello was made from. I haven’t touched the stuff since the rumors were confirmed.
