Monroe tried to steal my turkey earlier. He settled for sniffing my mouth. I guess the catnip mouthwash works. He’s also the one who tried to trip the guys. He prefers to ride on my walker’s seat.
Got to a craft/bake sale early yesterday in time to get one of their pies for Hubs. He loves pumpkin so he gets to eat it all week. One thing about the gf diet, it does help one cut down on baked treats, so I get to feel both virtuous and envious.
New musical joke: Heckel is a famous bassoon maker. There are several others. Heckel was the funniest name, and the one I remember our friend in the Symphony playing.
I am glad my dog can’t see the computer screen. She would be licking it. At the moment, she is tired from a day of dog therapy and is in her bed, licking that. I have no idea why, other than she might find it calming. Beagles will try to eat almost anything. Mine hasn’t stopped bottom feeding in the hospital, not even since she picked up a piece of jalapeno off the floor and chewed it. She would be joyful to find some apple pie!

Every pie I ever tried to make ended up looking like apple crumble.
Cheery, blueberry, pecan… heh heh, even apple.
