These are some of the actual rules for “Friendsgiving”. I left out the one where you bring your own drinks. Even if they only drink water, it’s difficult for the cast to carry the bottles and glasses.
Is it bring your own plate or bring your own plate with food on it? Do the guests swap out meals? Or you eat your own food? The four-footed guest can bring their own water if they wear runner’s water bottles that have straps.
Buster: Hello, I am behind you, don’t forget me, I want some of that too, I am a hound you know, we eat as often as possible. Do I really have to share? Hello?
Unfortunately, it involves one of my favorite California fur babies going over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday morning.
Her name was Bella Rosa. She was a small mutt, kinds poodlish, that was an adoption by my brother from a friend.
They live in California and I didn’t meet Bella until I visited one year on vacation.
By then Bella was a couple of years old, but it was love at first site, and I call her my long distance fur baby (3000 miles as I live in Massachusetts).
Well, today, my brother posted a picture of Bella as a puppy at about 4 months old, riding with Barbie in a Disney Land parade!!
It turns out (I can’t believe I didn’t know this until now) that Bella served as Barbie’s puppy in all of the Disney Land parades for the first year of her life!
And that Bella also took part in several Disney Land doggy fashion shows over the years when she was older.
Bella’s in with Disney was that my brother ran the LA County Fairgrounds for years and he knew many, many people in the entertainment industry.
Some one had mentioned to my brother the need for a puppy for Barbie in the parade and my brother said, “Guess what?” and Bella was in!
He told me that, after the first parade, the young lady playing Barbie wanted to take Bella home with her.
I ain’t kidding about him knowing folks in entertainment. Raymond Burr used to occasionally invite my brother and his wife over to his (Raymond’s) house for dinner. Raymond would cook dinner himself for them… Usually lasagna.

Good rule; then you get to take your plates home and wash them, thus reducing stress on your host.

I assume that’s the petsitter’s dachsie? Or just some miscellaneous animal picked up for the occasion? Coz that’s what you do on Friendsgiving.

A plate? Can’t I bring a platter? And fill it up.
Are the furries going to choose — dog/cat food or turkey? Or do they get both?

Looks like the Fur Babies have Rule #1 covered.
