Ha! If only it was that easy. Wait till he adds in the mandatory made up dealership add-ons.

Shave a little off the price? He should’ve pushed for him to shave a little off that weird little mustache on his face.

Much easier these days. You look up a car with the features you want, and see a range of sale prices by location. Then search locally for that car with those features and tell the dealer what you will pay. If they want to add on any other costs, either accept them if they are for something real or walk away. Got our past two cars that way, easy peasy. No haggling. Last time even got the local dealer to pick up a car in the next state for us.

Last car was a Jeep Wrangler. I WANTED IT! No haggling! I WANTED IT! I have had it 9 years now and no problems. I talked to the sales guy after and he was really surprised at how easy the sale was. Did I mention, I WANTED IT! Paid cash too.

His commission is a fresh roll of duct tape to remove the static cling lint from his plaid polyester jacket. (He considers it a first world problem.)

They don’t sell used cars anymore, they sell loans.
