A company I worked for years ago decided that employee theft was the major cause of inventory loses so Loss Prevention the department that dealt with theft were sent in to check every store, at that point I was employed just under 25 years so there was this gossip that was going around they will terminate those like me close to retirement. I know they went through my desk at least once looking for receipts on anything I bought – I stapled receipts with the item even if it gets thrown in the trash like food (they went through that too). I did inventory control so it is ironic that they would go through my desk. I did know they can access the CCTV cameras remotely – Big Brother is always watching so I was hyperaware.

Of course it is, the company put it in, IT maintains it, HR reviews it and Legal uses it.
