That’s a pretty evolved banana for a creation myth.

Thank you, God. (And Eric.)

But it wasn’t until he created Adam and Eve that there was someone there to appreciate it. Or to slip on the banana peel. And God finally laughed. A thunderous laugh.

This does coincide with the Genesis account (up to a point), since according to Genesis 1:9-13, on the third day, along with making land and seas, God spoke vegetation (plants and trees that bear fruit) into existence.

However, the humor/joke wasn’t complete until day 6, when mankind was created.

Slap that stick!

He just knew someone was following close behind….

Actually, God created humor on the first day but the set up for the joke took until the third day.

This explains so much.

After creating Eve he created Lucy’s football (Peanuts), and called it Man’s fate.

And personal injury negligence lawsuits.

hA! It certainly gives God more appeal!

Somebody said, the surest sign god has a sense of humor is paradox. I tend to agree, besides, he created us! That’s some humor for you right there! Comedy and tragedy all rolled into one.
