A friend and I went with others from the Company we worked at to an office building on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles, to see the new "computer ". It was as tall as a refrigerator and as long as a king size bed.. it wasn’t long before we were dealing with punch cards.
They were much bigger than that and this one doesn’t even have a tape drive which was a second big box and the memory would be in yet another big box – big as a washing machine.
