I would like to throw a tantrum and scream “I’m not rich” but it won’t change the fact that my a/c, only 31 years old gave up the ghost on the hottest day of the year!
Four kind people let the emergency tech put me to the head of the line and I got the news that coil broke, had an oil leak and absolutely no coolant left.
A sales person came to give me a quote and so thorough that he found some electrical issues that aren’t up to city code and some of you know what that did to cost that is so high that I’m not going to share it.
My new system will be installed Tuesday morning . A kind neighbor lent me a fan so we survived. In fact my cat discovered the joy of a good breeze! She slept fine; her human finally got an hour of sleep! Grumpy old woman signing off!
I’ve never understood the obsession with a number. It’s not like anyone is going to look at the tag (and it’s creepy if they do). I’d rather have my clothes fit well, regardless of number.
I do agree that it’s a pain that we have to upsize when buying swimsuits. It is difficult enough to see myself in a swimsuit, but then I have to get a size larger? Blech.

Women’s sizing is insane. I find there is a 10 inch difference in the amount of fabric at the waist of different pairs of pants in the same size. Even within the same brand and fit (curvy, skinny, etc.), the sizes can vary wildly.

A lot of cheap manufacturers seem to have random sizing labels. Too bad all clothing can’t simply be based on hat size. :)
