Jeez! That “too different” look…my late mother liked. “Why wear makeup, if you can’t see it?” And BOY, could you see it on her! (good memory, though!)

There’s a sucker born every minute!

That being said … yesterday was 4 Elul, my 76th jewish birthday and today Is my 76th civil birthday, so I am doing back to back celebration!

Thanks for letting me share the birthday one more time. There are just no guarantees in life, the biggest lesson I ever learned!

    Love you all!

A vicious cycle, isn’t it? I’m with comic Cathy in the bottom left panel, too, since that look is a bit extreme …

HI, MOM. Good Sunday Morning, “Cathy” Clan.

When I was a teen, one of my friends convinced me to get a makeover at a department store beauty counter. My parents saw the $40 price tag and had me return it ASAP.

My wife spends considerable time putting on makeup before she goes out. I cannot tell the difference. Maybe it is because I know her so well.

Talk about a shock. Friday was in the mid 70’s, Saturday was in low 50’s, today it is in the mid 40’s and it has been raining for two full days. Maybe Mother Nature is preparing us for winter or something like that. I hope you are enjoying this weekend.

Ideally, makeup should be so subtle as to be nearly indetectible. I have NEVER understood the overrouged look. I always think: is this person blind?
