Sometimes I want to smack Caulfield! If he spent 1/2 his excuses/procrastinating/arguing time just doing the work, he’d have all the time he needs for goofing off! He’s obviously intelligent enough that most school-work is a breeze, so, just do it, get it done & sit back & relax while all around you people sweat it out.
When I was a little kid in, I dunno, about 4th or 5th grade, before I knew how things worked, we got some books that we were told we were going to study that year. About two weeks later I asked the teacher when we were going to get the next batch of books, and she just looked at me like I was daft. Evidently that first batch was supposed to have lasted the entire year.

She can foil him by making one of the assignments due one week later than the other.

One of the problems with game theory is that the participants may not use the same scoring system. Her “fail” is his “excuse”.

She could add one more assignment to the whole class and let the class know that they have Caulfield to thank for it.

He’s smart enough to devise excuses on his own. Just pushing a little irritation her way.

One completed assignment is better than 2 in the bush, so I heard it said.

Strategic Teacher Baiting. Tricky to do. Hard to win.

Sorry, Caulfield, failure doesn’t care about excuses.

I don’t think DT ever expected to get elected. He just ran to build his “brand”.

Why not just do the current assignment and be done with it?

This kid thinks he’s smart yet he’s never able to do his assignments.

Too smart for his, or the teacher’s, own good.
