So many things you can’t live without and then a week or two later you don’t even remember why you got them.

They did get the right expect.

So if they’re from, like, a thousand years ago and still in their original packaging, they might be worth quite a lot. Check ebay, sell them and then buy up-to-date toys with the money.

I’m not sure kids are that picky about what free toys they get.

So, bought by adults, remembering their childhood, off the cheap shelves.

Collectors will sure take them. They might be worth a fortune.

I worked in public housing in the 90’s. Every Christmas a truck would arrive and give all the children a new bicycle. By early summer the yards were littered with discarded bikes. When things are free they don’t have as much value.

If that’s the kids’ problem, the kids are the problem. Have those kids take the “inferior” toys to a shelter or child care where they’ll be loved.

That would make them much more valuable. To collectors at least.

If you ask kids “What do you want?” they will tell you. They know what they see in the media & on-line, they know what other (richer) kids have.

I collect action figures, so I know the experience of visiting multiple targets and other stores that sell toys to find the newest releases, and even getting friends who live in other states to help middle-man some. But I wasn’t doing that when I was freaking TEN!

Takes a kid to know what a Kid wants.

Next time ask a kid NOT related to a cop.

Oi, that’s pretty bad when something is worse than nothing…

Then the toys would be about right for those of us who are ancient and in our second (or third) childhoods!
